TWO CATS MISSING FROM HOME IN BUSSIERE POITEVINE. 87

The older cat about 2 and a half years old and has been spayed and chipped. The other one is 2 years old and has been spayed. Both are grey tabby cats. The older one is bigger and has a lot darker grey on his back and very soft fur. They were last seen in owners garden at Bussiere Poitevine.. The young one went first, then about a week later the older one went, and we think he went looking for the young one as they were very good friends.  Please check your sheds, garages and outbuildings just in case they could be trapped somewhere.  Any sightings please contact Jean Marlow at jeanmarlow45@yahoo.com    Many thanks.

Rainbow were very pleased to be able to make a donation to Association Cats today.  In the photograph is our Secretary, Shirley Yeates  presenting the donation cheque to The founder and President of Association Cats, Sally Moss.  Sally works hard in capturing and sterilising feral cats to prevent 100's of kittens being born in the future.

Great News!  Colt, the large hound in the photo below, who came with the girls and two other dogs from Limoges SPA yesterday (Wednesday 7th September), was adopted last night. He really deserves a good home and thank you so much for the people who adopted him.
Some of the volunteers at the shop yesterday, working in extreme heat and still smiling!

We presented a donation cheque to the SPA Limoges, this money will help the many animals in their care, three of the dogs you will see in the photo came to see us on one of their day trips to the shop.  These trips out for the dogs raise awareness and also hopefully result in some of them eventually going to their 'forever homes' and they absolutely love it.

This lovely boy is called Moody - though he is not moody at all. Moody is one of the lucky dogs we are bringing to the shop on Wednesday 7th September, along with 3 other dogs from the SPA Limoges.

Please come along and say hello and give them a cuddle as this will probably be the only day they have had out of their cages since they arrived at the refuge.

If you or anyone you know is thinking of adopting a dog this is your chance!
